Sidney Earl Singley, 77, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday, November 10, 2020. He was born on August 26, 1943 in Panama City, FL to Sidney Nelson and Johnnie Singley. He was a 1962 graduate of Bay High School. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a shop steward for Bay Line Railroad for 32 years retiring in 2003. Sidney was a member of City Church at Northside for over 47 years. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Bowden Singley; two children, Sidney Allen Singley (Tara), Jonette Singley Kimbro (Bryan); eight grandchildren, Alleyson Singley, Jonathan Kimbro, Julianna Singley, Bryanna Kimbro, Savannah Singley, Sidney Jace Singley, Zayden Singley, Jackson Singley; one sister, JoAnn Fowler (Bill); one nephew, Wil Fowler (Carrie); one niece, Singley Ray (Joe); one great nephew, Russell Chapman and one brother-in-law, Todd Bowden (Crisann). Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 2 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Allen Singley, Rev. Lewis Miller and Rev. Luther Stanford officiating. Interment will follow the service at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 pm, Thursday prior to the service. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Baptist Center of Panama City, 123 Kraft Ave. Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Sidney Singley.
