Shirley Anne (Fuller) Roberts, 88, passed away Saturday evening, March 25, 2017 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh NC.  She was born on June 23, 1928 in Thayer, MO, the daughter of the late Howard and Edna Crews Fuller.

Shirley was a graduate of the Independence Sanitarium School of Nursing, and had a 30+ year career as an operating room nurse.  Her final job prior to retirement was in the Wake Medical OR as the charge nurse of the neuro cluster.

Shirley was a life-long member of the Community of Christ (formerly known as the RLDS Church) and had an enduring love for her church and church family.

Shirley was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Vivan L. Roberts, Jr. and her brother, Howard Duane Fuller.  She is survived by her three children - Susan Roberts Ratzlaff and husband Mark, Michael Roberts and wife Bonnie, and Teresa Roberts Green and husband Larry.  There are six grandchildren - Lauren Ratzlaff Weber and husband Steve, Caitlin Ratzlaff, Abigail Roberts, Anne-Marie Green, Lawrence Green III and Alisa Green.  Finally, she is survived by one great-grandchild, Mia Weber.

A memorial service will be held at the Community of Christ in Panama City, FL (see address below) on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 5:00 pm.
