Obituary

Shirley Ann Harper Rasmussen, 81, of Panama City, died Wednesday, February 27, 2008 in her home. She was born in Winner, South Dakota on July 7th, 1926. Shirley always loved to sew. She kept her 3 daughters supplied with outfits she made from the time they were small until after they were grown. After moving Florida she became active in the St. Andrew Bay Quilters Guild and spent time every day working on one quilt or another. She was also active in her church, and enjoyed the many friends she made there. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert Henry Rasmussen. She is survived by her three daughters, JoAnne (Jim) Ehasz, Terry (Gary) Flaming, Debby (Ken Wenzel) Rasmussen, four grandchildren, Cathy Flaming (Phil) Thiel, Brenda (Brandon Brooks) Flaming, Donald Ehasz, Chris Ehasz and her dear friend Pat Watson. Funeral services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jack Hankins officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
