Shirley Pinkepank Guess, 94, passed away August 31, 2021 at her home. She was born in Sweet Springs, Missouri and had been a resident of Panama City since 1977. Mrs. Guess moved to Florida to become the Housing Manager at Naval Coastal Systems Center in Panama City, FL and she retired in 1986. She was a charter member of Christ Our Savior Lutheran Church, where she had been active as a thrift store volunteer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Holmes C. Guess, Jr., and a son, Douglas Scott Guess. She is survived by two daughters, Pat Pope (Gene) of Jackson, GA and Linda Evans (Marc) of Panama City Beach, FL, six grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. A memorial service will be held for Mrs. Guess at a later date, with interment in Georgia.
