Shelia Strickland Robbins, 70, died May 14,2022 at her home in Panama City Beach, FL.
She was born August 30,1951 in Dothan, AL. to John Calvin and Betty Ruth Strickland.
Shelia was educated in the Dothan City School system graduating from Dothan High School
in the class of 1969. She continued her education and was a graduate of the first Registered
Nursing class at Wallace College.
Her career in nursing spanned for 50 years. She served as Head Nurse of the Recovery Room
at Flowers Hospital. She then worked as a Wellness Center Occupational Nurse Manager for
Cookin Good and Perdue Farms in Dothan and also as Regional Manager for Wellness Centers in
Georgia, South Carolina and Indiana. She retired as Case Manager for Direction Management
serving as liaison for workman compensation claims.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronnie. She is survived by her husband
Dennis, Panama City Beach, Fl., son Chris Harrison (Dawn), Anacortes, WA., daughter Haley,
Tallahassee, Fl. and grandson Jason and granddaughter Lauren, Anacortes, WA., sister, Delane (Mike) Parris and brother Steve(Cindy)Strickland. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
