SHARON MITCHELL
Linda Sharon Mitchell, 58, of Panama City, went home in the early morning of Monday, January 16, 2012 at her home. She joined her daddy, Early Lafayette Wilson; sister, Judith Dianna Wilson Campbell, as well as step son, Adam Christopher Mitchell. She was comforted as she went by her family and nurse and new-found friend, Barbara. She attended Ebro Baptist Church of Ebro, FL. Sharon was self-employed for 17 years as a court reporter in Bay County and most recently as a unit secretary for the respiratory department and sleep lab at Bay Medical Center. She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey; sons, Heath Macomber and his companion, Georgiana Hatcher and her daughter, Savannah, of Lynn Haven, Zane Macomber and wife, Shannon of Mossy Head; step-son, Eric Mitchell; mother, Pauline Wilson of Ebro; brother and sister-in-law, Dennis and Yulondia Wilson of Tallahassee; brother-in-law, Jerry Campbell of Chipley; in-laws, Bunyon and Judy Mitchell of Panama City; brothers-in-law, Andy Mitchell and wife Paige of Lynn Haven, Paul Mitchell of Panama City, John Mitchell of Panama City; uncle-in-law, Randy Neel and wife Rachel of Panama City; five grandchildren, Kaiden, Jonas, Makenna Macomber, Uriah and Maia Macomber. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, January 20, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at Red Bay Cemetery, Red Bay, FL. A memorial service will immediately follow across the road at the First Baptist Church at Red Bay Fellowship Hall. Brother B. Longo from Ebro Baptist Church will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Linda Sharon Wilson Mitchell.
