Sharon Forrester Davis entered into eternal rest in the presence of her loved ones on Sunday, January 20, 2019. She was born in Dothan, Alabama in 1940 to Lether Forrester & Angie Ryan Forrester. After receiving her nursing degree from St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Danville, Illinois, she worked as supervisor of the Emergency Room at Lakeview Memorial Hospital and later served as Director of Nurses for East St. James Hospital in Lutcher, Louisiana. She moved to Panama City and continued her nursing career at Gulf Coast Hospital for several years retiring in 2004. She was a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church. Sharon was an accomplished homemaker whose life reflected her love of reading and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald Gene Davis Sr.; her loving sons, Charles Wayne Davis, Michael Charles Davis, her two sisters, Carolyn Forrester Wright, Audrey Forrester Walker and a brother, John Ryan. She was the loving mother of Donald Gene Davis Jr., and his wife, Mary; proud grandmother to Courtney Leigh Davis and Charles Donald Davis and she is also survived by two sisters, Patricia Forrester Laramore, Eloise Forrester Moore, and will be sadly missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
