SARAH WARD MONTIN
Sarah Ward Montin, 80, of Panama City Beach, died Wednesday, September 13, 2006 at her home. She was born on January 1, 1926 in Hartford, Alabama and had been a resident of Panama City since 1946. Mrs. Montin was preceded in death by her parents, Malcolm and Janie Shields Ward. She is survived by her children, Gary Montin and James Montin, of Panama City, John Montin of Nebraska, sisters, Margaret Hidle, of Slocomb, Alabama, Mary Mathis, Lou Jean Combs and her husband George, companion and caretaker, Isaac Carl Ward, all of Panama City and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Hartford City Cemetery in Hartford, Alabama. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405, in memory of Sarah Montin.
