Sarah Josephine "Jo" Moore, 87, of Panama City, passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2019. She was born September 20, 1931 in Geneva County, Alabama to Euell & Nora Matthews. She was a longtime member of St. Andrew Baptist Church where she loved the ladies of her Sunday School Class "The Gleaners". She loved her home, her flowers and enjoyed working in the yard. Jo also loved to take trips to the cabin to fish and spending time with the family. You could always count on Jo to have a big smile and warm heart. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clinton J. Moore, her parents, two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by four children, Jim Moore (Tina), Annell Pylant, Roland Moore (Eleanor), Melinda Russo (Nat); nine grandchildren, Scott Moore, Stacy Barrett (Doug), Stephen Moore, Josh Gilbert, Blake Moore, Ryan Moore (Amy), Sara Russo, Kimberly Russo, Matthew Russo; two sisters, Sybil Sketoe, Mary Brazile; close family friend, Marcia Bush; several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 11 a.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Warren officiating. Those desiring may make memorial donations to your favorite charity in memory of Jo Moore.
