Sarah Lee Hanson, born February 3, 1936 in El Dorado, Arkansas and passed away, August 4, 2019 at the age of 83 in Panama City, FL. Sarah was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Viola Wallace of El Dorado, Arkansas and her brother, Robert, Jr. of New Orleans, Louisiana. Sarah is survived by her loving husband, Joe B. Hanson of Panama City Beach, FL; son, Mark Hanson of San Diego, California and wife Chris, and son Scott Hanson of St. Louis, Missouri; granddaughters, Jessica and Rachel Hanson of St. Louis, Missouri; grandson, Joseph Hanson of Memphis, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Loretta Hanson of Minden, Louisiana. Because of her lifetime of caring, she is also survived by a host of loving friends and neighbors. The family would like to thank the nurses at DA Vita Dialysis center in Lynn Haven, FL and the staff at Gulf Coast Hospital in Panama City, FL for their kindness and caring. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 from 5:30-7:30 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donation be made to the American Cancer Society in memory of Sarah Lee Hanson.
