Sara Weathers Garrett

Sara Weathers Garrett, 84, of Lynn Haven, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013. She was born January 4, 1929 in Anniston, Alabama and had been a resident of Bay County since 1966. She was a retired office manager at Cardiology Associates and also worked at Bay Radiology. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Noah E. Garrett; 4 children, Melanie Stalvey (Ernie); Sally Shaddix (Mike); Ben Garrett (Cathey); Bob Garrett (Karrie); 8 grandchildren, Chris Stalvey (Jenn), Dawn Harris (Chris) Kingsley Epps (Garrett), Katie Long (Cody), Nick Stalvey, Taylor Lewis (Preston), Winston Stalvey, Mackenzie Garrett; 7 great grandchildren, Audrey Harris, Christopher Neitman, Ashley Shaben, Dean Stalvey, Colt Long, Carter Garrett, Sawyer Lewis; and a sister, Virginia Jones. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10-11 a.m. Thursday prior to the service. A private family graveside will follow in the Lynn Haven Cemetery.
