SANDRA MARIE JONES
Sandra Marie Jones, 61, of Panama City, died Sunday, September 7, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born March 13, 1947 in Newbern, North Carolina. She was a member of the Cherry Street Church of Christ. She was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved crafts. She was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Skipper and husband Tommy, her son, Jimmy Jones and wife Lisa, three grandchildren, Corey Jones, Trevor Jones, Chase Bain, brother, Mike Dixon and wife Terry, sister, Pamela Tart and numerous nieces, nephews and close friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Skipper, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL 32405 or to the Cherry Street Church of Christ, 6321 Cherry Street, Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Sandra Jones. The family would like to thank Community Healthcare and Covenant Hospice for their excellent care and also Cherry Street Church of Christ for their support and prayers.
