Sandra Keith Cross, 81, of Panama City, FL passed away on Wednesday November 22, 2017. She was surrounded by loving family and faithful friends. This spirited, independent, and compassionate women was born on April 30, 1936, to Clair and Thelma Keith. She was raised in Freeport, Illinois along with her younger brother, Randy.

Her career as an X-Ray Technician led her to her husband of 24 years, Henry McDonald. Together they raised two children and moved with his career to several Air Force bases throughout the country. Her new path in life then led her to her husband, Richard Cross, and the job she was destined to have at SIMS VA Nursing Home in Panama City, FL, where the residents and their family members dearly loved her and her dog, Zoe. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clair and Thelma Keith, her husband, Richard Cross, and her loving brother Randy Keith. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn and her husband Everett Allen; and her son, Steve, and his wife, Lisa McDonald; 6 grandchildren, Kelli Winder, Michael McDonald, Stephanie Collier, Katy Anderson, Summer Anderson, and Olivia Anderson; and 11 great-grandchildren.

A small gathering of close friends and family was held at her home in Panama City, FL on November 25, 2017, to celebrate her cherished life.
