Samuel T. "Sam" Newton, 66, of Panama City Beach, passed away on Monday, December 26, 2016.  He was born June 10, 1950 in Dothan, Alabama to Frank & Rudean Newton.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Kerri Bonds and a sister, Melanie Newton.  He is survived by his wife, Martha Laird "Marti" Newton; son, Dean Newton; grandson, Cameron Bonds and a sister, Angelin Newton (Joe).  A private family graveside will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to your favorite charity in memory of Sam Newton.
