Samuel "Sammie" Carroll Rowe Jr., 66, of Panama City, FL passed away on Thursday May 30, 2019. He was born on September 22, 1952 in Panama City, FL. He was the Owner and Operator of S.C. Rowe Oil Company Inc. He was a dedicated member of First Baptist Church of Panama City where he served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his father, Samuel Carroll Rowe Sr. He is survived by his wife, Jan Rowe; his mother, Lanelle Andrews Rowe; two children, Chris Rowe and wife, Ashley, Patrick Rowe and wife, Jennifer; four grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Rowe, Samuel Christopher Rowe Jr., Madison Brooke Rowe, Parker O'Neal Rowe. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at 2 pm at First Baptist Church of Panama City with Dr. Craig Conner and Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1-2 pm prior to the service. Active pallbearers will be Bryan Robinson, Drew Robinson, Mark Robinson, Steve Morgan, Matthew Morgan, William Martin, Bubba Dunn and Hal Sutton. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of First Baptist Church and the members of the Church Choir and Church softball teams. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Youth Department at First Baptist Church, P.O. 1200, Panama City, FL 32402 in memory of Sammie Rowe.
