Ruth Steverson Miller Cox, 90, of Panama City, FL, passed away on Friday, December 17, 2021.  She was born on October 26, 1931 in Holmes County, Florida to Clarence and Ethel Steverson.  She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Dot Steverson.  She is survived by the love of her life, husband Jack Cox, her children, Pam Mercer (John), Sheila Turner (Monte) and Steve Miller (Mary); stepdaughter, Jill Cox McDonald; her grandchildren, Amanda Addison, David Mercer, Whitney Miller, Tyler Turner, Zachary Turner; great grandchildren, Annalese Hancock, Arabella Addison, Kai Mercer, Ellie Mercer and great-great grandson, Rhett Addison.  A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John M. Brannon officiating. At Ruth's request please celebrate her life by wearing your favorite bright colored attire.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation in memory of Ruth Cox.
