Ruth Ann Harris went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 17, 2019 at the home of her son, Stephen; whom she had lived with for the past six years. Ruth Ann was born January 30, 1944 in Rye, New Hampshire to George Joseph Goodreau, Sr. and Ruth Marie Richards Goodreau. Ruth Ann Goodreau moved to Panama City at the age of 19 after her mother's death; to live with her brother, George J. Goodreau, Jr. and his wife, Gloria. Shortly after, she met and married Buddy Harris and opened Buddy Harris Shoes. Through the years, Ruth Ann became the matriarch of the family as well as the business. Simply said, Ruth Ann Harris lived to serve others. Ruth Ann spent the last nine years of her life with Alzheimer's. In the last six years with son, Stephen; she fought the ravages of the disease, with the grace and dignity that she lived her life. A celebration of life Mass at St. John's Catholic Church will be held on Saturday September 21, 2019 at 10:00 am. The family will receive friends from 9-10 am prior to the service.
