RUNELL HOLLEY POSTON
Runell Holley Poston, 85, of Panama City, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2009. She was born November 20, 1923 in Covington County, Alabama. She retired from the civil service at Tyndall Air Force Base as Chief of Staffing, Civilian Personnel, in 1981, after 27 years. She was a member of St. Andrew Primitive Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Sue Raley and brother, O.R. Holley.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William E. Poston; daughter, Joyce Bolin and husband Dave; granddaughter, Holly Martin and husband Todd; two great-grandsons, Gavin and Rylan Martin; son-in-law, Butch Raley; brother, Wayne R. Holley and wife Sylvia; sister-in-law, Francine Holley; and two nephews, Philip Holley and Paul Holley and wife DeeDee and great nephew, Brandon Holley.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Elder J.C. Stanaland officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 – 2 p.m. prior to the service.
