RUBYE TAYLOR GRIFFIN
Rubye Taylor Griffin, 80, of Panama City, passed away, Monday, October 8, 2007 at a local hospital. She was born on March 13, 1927 in Crawfordville, Georgia. She was a member of Forest Park United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Rubye K. Taylor and brother, William O. Taylor, Jr. She is survived by her husband, Norman O. Griffin, three daughters, Carol Lee, Pamela Fix and her husband, Jim, Nancy Williams and her husband, Alan, five grandsons, Aaron Lee, James Fix and his wife, Tabatha, Joel Fix and his wife, Janeyn, Jason Dunn and his wife, Donna, Brandon Dunn, four great granddaughters, six great grandsons, two brothers, Terry R. Taylor, Fred Taylor and wife, Dell, sister, Evelyn Roberson and her husband, Al. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Friedman, Rev. Bud Cathey and Rev. Tom Tillery officiating. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 10 – 11 a.m. prior to the services. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Forest Park United Methodist Church Building Fund, 1401 W 23rd Street, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Rubye Griffin.
