RUBY NELL DELCOMYN
Ruby Nell Delcomyn, of Youngstown, FL, passed away July 16, 2007 at Bay Medical Center. She was born on September 21, 1927 in Bastrop, Louisiana. Ruby is survived by her husband of 61 years, John Albert Delcomyn; two daughters, Laura Suzanne Roberts and her husband, Douglas, of Tallahassee, Carrie Anne Delcomyn, of Panama City, one sister, Mildred Richbourg and husband, A.D., of Panama City, nephews, Colt Richbourg, Randy Richbourg, George Penton, Jeff Penton, nieces, Dorothy Crawford, Madeline Sitzes and numerous grand nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joe and Hewitt Penton. Ruby moved to Panama City in 1933. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City and graduated from Bay High School in 1945. Ruby was an active member in the DAR; UDC; Daughters of the War of 1812 and Colonial Dames. She was a homemaker, a very loving mother and dedicated her life to God and her family. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 19, 2007 at 10 a.m. in Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Jack Hankins officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
