Ruby Lorene Branning, 88, of Panama City, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2010. She was born September 11, 1922 in Loughman, Florida to Grover Cleveland & Shala Irby. She was a retired saleslady for JC Penney's. She had been a resident of Panama City for the past 60 years and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd James Branning. She is survived by 3 children, Jim Branning and wife, Linda of Tallahassee, FL; Debbie Kuhnheim and husband, Bob of LaHabra, CA; Vickie Childers of Panama City; 3 grandchildren, Leanne Davis and husband Mark, and their son, Noah Davis; Robin Macauley and her daughters, Alexia and Makenzie; and Kyle Childers; sister, Nona Yarbough and a brother, Lester Irby. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Roberts officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
