ROYAL COLLINS DUNN
Royal Collins (R.C.) Dunn, 63, born on January 30, 1943, in Panama City, Florida, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 28, 2006. He was preceded in death by his parents, Royal and Verna Dunn, and his sister, Lynn Cox. He is survived by his brother, Larry Dunn and his wife Joan of Longwood, Florida; two nieces, Diane Dunn Petty and her husband Bob and Lori Davis; four nephews, Chuck Dunn and his wife Tracy and Patrick Dunn, Jeff Davis and Tracy Davis; nine great nieces and nephews; close friends and many other friends and relatives. R.C. was an outstanding salesman, having retired from IBM after over twenty years. His wonderfully deep voice and fun-loving personality was a perfect fit while in his early years as a radio DJ for WTHR. In their formative years, he treated his nieces and nephews as though they were his own. R.C. had a very generous heart, and would always go above and beyond for his friends, throwing lavish parties. Like for us all, the passing of his parents was difficult, and he is fortunate now to be with them again in Heaven. A celebration of life graveside service will be held Friday, September 1, 2006 at 10 a.m. in Lynn Haven Cemetery with Rev. Thomas Gashlin officiating.
