ROY E. CRAIG
Roy E. Craig, 81, of Panama City, died Sunday, August 23, 2009. He was born September 21, 1927 in Huntsville, AL. He had been a resident of Panama City since 1953 moving here from Tallahassee, FL. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a fleet superintendent for Flowers Foods retiring after 36 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Vivian Messer Craig; 3 sons, Michael Craig, Gary Craig and wife, Wanda; Darryl Craig; daughter, Barbara Verstring; 3 grandchildren, Christopher Craig, Jayson Craig, Brandy Tiner and 2 great grandchildren, Brecken Tiner and Sierra Tiner. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Gospel Assembly Church with Rev. Steve Coy officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday.
