Rosetta "Rose" Langley Thomas, 90, of Panama City, entered her heavenly home on Thursday, January 14, 2016. She was born May 13, 1925 in Manchester, Alabama, the youngest daughter of 12 children of Wiley Jackson & Minnie Lee Langley. She was a member of Hiland Park Baptist Church, where she taught a Ladies' Sunday School class for over 20 years. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, John O. Thomas; sisters, Ellen Dodd (Jim), Mae Morrow (Presley), Velma Abel (Hugh), Dolly Dunlap (Ferris), I.V. Dailey (Cecil), Willie Lee Lolley (George): brothers, Lynn Langley (Ninnie), Wiley Langley (Billie), Charlie B. Langley (June), Walter Langley (Evelyn); granddaughter, Jana Carswell Connelly (Brian); and a son-in-law, James Carswell Jr. She is survived by her children, Charles Fulton (Margaret); Carol Carswell; Glenda McGuire (Walter); Gary Thomas; grandchildren, Christopher Fulton (Mindy); Joy Carswell Winn; Angela McGuire, Stacey McGuire; great grandchildren, Tyler Fulton, Creyton Winn, Caroline Winn, Kearsten Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Buster Waldrop, Hannah Gainer; brother, J.W. Langley (Lorraine); numerous nieces and nephews and special friends, Rebecca Dudley and Julie Adkison. The family wishes to express their gratitude to her caregiver, Ethel Banks. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Fulton officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers will be Christopher Fulton, Tyler Fulton, Brent Conner, Robert Denmark, Mark McQueen and Woodrow Newmans.
