Ronald Dale Carter, 73, passed away at his home in Lynn Haven, FL on Monday, October 7, 2024. He was born on January 15, 1951, in Chilton County, AL to Clyde Q. Carter and Elsie E. Traywick.

Ron grew up in Billingsley, AL, and moved to Panama City in 1977. He was a prime example of hard work and dedication in his profession as a commercial HVAC business owner, a devoted father, and a wonderful grandfather.

Ron had a wonderfully inventive mind that was always working and building creative projects. He was an inventor and patent holder as well as an aspiring country songwriter and member of the Nashville Songwriters Association International. Some of his fondest memories were spending time on his boats, fishing, snorkeling, and having fun on the Island with his friends and family.

Proceeding him in peace were his parents, Clyde Carter and Elsie Carter, and his brother Terry Carter.

He is survived by his siblings sister, Peggy Grantham; brother, Roger (Sandra) Carter; two children, Dale (Brooke) Carter; and Lynne (Mike) Gray; grandchildren, Ethan Carter, Eli Carter, Elizabeth Carter, Katherine Gray and Emily Gray.

A celebration of Ron's life will be held at a later date in Lynn Haven, FL.
