Roland Michael Foerch, 73, of Youngstown, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024.  A beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather.  Michael lived a life marked by adventures with his siblings, his love of dancing and a life of hard work as a Tankerman.  He enjoyed a warm beverage, cared a lot about his appearance, never met a stranger, loved his friends dearly and would talk and carry on a conversation with anyone.

He was born on September 22, 1951 in Fort Campbell, KY to Roland and Elizabeth Foerch.  He had a twin brother, James Patrick Foerch, and an older sister, Becky Foerch.  Michael was proceeded in death by his parents, his brother, Step-daughter-in-law, Anne Wade, and two nephews, Christopher Foerch and Andy Overmeyer.  He is survived by his wife, Wanda Foerch and daughters, Amanda (James) Foerch-Johnson and Alisha (Tory) Lynch; four grandchildren, Zackary, Gage, Elizabeth and Landon.  Step-son Tim Wade; Step-daughters, Becky (Tony)  Thompson and Angela (Travis) Watts; three step-grandchildren, Casey, Bryce and Zinan.

Michael truly enjoyed animals, especially his pets and nature.  He was generous to a fault and always wanted to help anyone he could.  He also loved to tell a joke no matter how lame…lol.

He will truly be missed.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.
