Robert "Bob" Winfield Wilson Sr., 91, of Mexico Beach, passed away on Sunday, February 14, 2021 in a local hospital. He was born September 5, 1929 in Marietta, Georgia. He served in the United States Air Force at Tyndall AFB during the Korean War. He also was a Paramedic and worked for Bay Medical Center and Franklin County as EMS Director. He was a member of the Parker Masonic Lodge, was a Scout Master with the Boys Scouts, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City and was a volunteer with the Florida Baptist Disaster Relief. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Frances Wilson and a sister, JoAnn Boatright. He is survived by two sons, Robert W. Wilson, Jr.; Donald Clyde Wilson (Joann); three grandchildren; seven great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. EST in the Hinesville Cemetery, Hinesville, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to Florida Baptist Disaster Relief C/O Florida Baptist Convention, 6850 Belfort Oaks Pl, Jacksonville, FL 32216 in memory of Bob Wilson.
