ROBERT B. WILKES, SR.

Mr. Robert B. Wilkes, Sr., 82, of Lynn Haven, Florida, passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathryn Wilkes; daughter, Kathy Wooddall, of Griffin, Georgia; Bob Wilkes, Jr., and wife, Eileen Wilkes; Rick Wilkes, and wife, Amy Wilkes; and Betsy Wilkes; all of Lynn Haven, Florida; six grandchildren, Craig and Kyle Wooddall, of Griffin, Georgia; Kelly Wilkes, of Atlanta, Georgia; Kimberly Wilkes, of Pensacola, Florida, and Ashley and Scott Wilkes, of Lynn Haven, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Coleman and Adrienne Wooddall of Griffin, Georgia.
He served in the United States Navy from 1942 to 1946 and worked for Proctor and Gamble for 34 years, retiring in 1982.
A memorial service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Huey Holloway officiating. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the American Heart Association, 205 Forest Park Circle, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Robert Wilkes.
