Robert William Tansky, 62, of Panama City, FL passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016. He was born January 17, 1954 in Cranford, New Jersey to William and Charlotte Tansky. He worked as a truck driver for the Cedar Creek Logging Company. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Robert loved Jesus Christ. He always said his one true joy was to live for Him. He also said that the happiest day in his life was when he asked Jesus to come into his heart. Those left behind to cherish memories of Robert include his wife, Roberta Ann "Bobbie" Tansky, daughters, Saber Brown and Kayla Tansky; stepson, Thomas McDonald; step-daughter, Jennie McDonald; three grandchildren Willow Rain Sullivan, Cora Belle Brown, and Emma McDonald, sister, Sue Pierry, brother, Michael Tansky and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6-7pm at Wilson Funeral Home with funeral services starting at 7 pm. Graveside services will be at Barrancas National Cemetery in Pensacola, Florida on Thursday, February 18, 2016 at 11:45 am.
