IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lee
Sanborn
November 13, 1957 – December 26, 2022
Robert Lee Sanborn, 65, died on December 26 th as a result of a freak accident while eating dinner and watching the Green Bay Packers. Robbie was born November 13, 1957 in Port St. Joe and was a 1975 graduate of Port St. Joe High School. He proudly served in the United States Marines and was honorably discharged in 1984. He battled alcohol addiction his entire adult life. When he was sober, he was a pleasure to spend time with. He was well read on many subjects and an all-around sports fan. He oddly, loved both Auburn and the Gators. Robbie recently landed in a good place at The Ark on Panama City Beach. Thanks to that program and the wonderful work of the Bennett family, Robbie was in a good place when he left us. Robbie was preceded in death by his parents, Martha and Clifford Sanborn. He is survived by his brother, Sandy, sister, Pam and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held on Sunday January 8, 2023 at 3 p.m. Eastern Time in the Holly Hill Cemetery, Port St. Joe. Those desiring may make memorial donations to The Ark Church, First United Methodist Church, or the Marine Corp League in memory of Robbie Sanborn. Everyday is a blessing. Take nothing for granted.
