ROBERT EDDIE KYZER
Robert Eddie Kyzer passed away Saturday, May 17, 2008, at Community Health & Rehabilitation Center. Mr. Kyzer was 91 years of age, born in Tuscaloosa County, AL on August 16, 1916 and moved his family to Panama City, FL in 1949 to begin a construction business. He was predeceased by his wonderful wife of 66 years, Ollie Mae Kyzer, in 2005. They celebrated their 66th anniversary while they were both residents at Community Health & Rehabilitation Center. He was also predeceased by his parents of Tuscaloosa, AL, John Henry & Ritta Kyzer, sister, Gracie Beard, brothers, Fleet, Floyd, Fletcher & Howard Kyzer. He is survived by 1 sister, Gretel Ragland, of Tuscaloosa, AL.
He is survived by one daughter, Betty Brannon & husband, Ed, of Lynn Haven, FL; one son, Aubrey Kyzer & wife, Myrtle, of Ashford, AL; 4 grandchildren, Steve Brannon and wife, Debbie, of Lynn Haven, FL, Stuart Brannon and wife, Sandy, of Panama City, FL, Tina Worley and husband, Randy, of Cowarts, AL, Dennis Kyzer of Dothan, AL, 5 great grandchildren, Brett Brannon, Blake Brannon, Shaun Worley, Zach Worley and Tiffany Kyzer.
Mr. Kyzer was in the U. S. Navy and was a veteran of World War II. He loved his country and enjoyed telling all about his experiences while in the Navy. He was in the construction business most of his life in Panama City, FL.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 20, 2008, at 1 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Virgil Tillman officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 12 – 1 p.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens immediately following the services.
The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the entire staff of Community Health & Rehabilitation Center, especially to Tameka, Candy, Gregg, Jeanie, Viola, Christy, Deanna, Jackie & Kelley for all the love and care you gave our father during his illness.
