ROBERT L. FLYNN

Chief Master Sergeant, Robert L. Flynn, (USAF ret), 74, of Lynn Haven passed away Sunday, August 2, 2009. He was born December 28, 1934 in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania. He served over 28 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a member of St. Dominic's Catholic Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Dorothy Flynn and sister, Joan Flynn. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Geraldine Flynn; three children, Karin Wilson, of Lynn Haven, Dana Flynn (Smith) and husband Rick, of Fountain, James Flynn, of Ft. Walton Beach; seven step children, Tess Harrell, of San Jose, CA, Roger Neil Underwood and wife Lisa, of Sacramento, CA, Ruth Ann Smith and husband Smitty, of Bayou George, Kenneth Underwood, of Cedar Grove, Janet Lee Szceny and husband Joe, of Palm City, FL, James Ray Underwood and wife Cindy, of Cabot, AR, Elaine Delina Hutto and husband Johnny, of Southport; 19 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; two brothers, Frank Flynn and wife Peggy, of Pittsburg, PA and David Flynn and wife Barbara, of Sarasota, FL. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in the Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 – 7 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to St. Dominic's Catholic Church, 3308 E 15th Street, Panama City, FL 32401 in memory of Robert Flynn.
