Robert Andrew "Drew" Schneider, 44, of Panama City Beach, passed away on August 5, 2024 in the presence of his mother and brother, following a fierce battle with cancer. He will always be remembered for his huge heart, gentle soul and willingness to help those in need.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Kay (McConnell) Schneider of Panama City Beach; his brother and sister-in-law, Alex and Autumn Schneider, and his nephews, Kasey and Lucas, all of Knoxville, TN; his beloved granny "Mike" Frances McConnell, of Panama City, along with a host of special uncles, aunts and cousins.

Waiting to welcome him into Heaven, he is reunited with his dad, Steve; older brother, Alan; his maternal grandfather, R.L. "Scrappy" McConnell Jr.; Paternal grandparents, Les and Goldie Schneider as well as loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was a graduate of Bay High School, Panama City. Having grown up in Knoxville, TN, his allegiance was to the Tennessee Vols, "Go Big Orange." Drew brought light and joy to everyone around him and we will miss his presence in our lives. But we rejoice in knowing he is finally free of the disease that took him from us way too soon.

His family wishes to thank his team of doctors and medical professionals who were so dedicated to his care and a special thanks to the St. Anthony's Hospital and Bay Cares family in St. Petersburg, FL.

Soar with the Angels Drew and be at peace knowing we will celebrate you every day until we are together again.

Memorialization will be by cremation and a private gathering of family will be held at a later date.
