ROBERT EDWARD COSSEY
Robert Edward Cossey, 86, of Panama City Beach, Florida, passed away June 9, 2010 in a local hospital. He was born April 27, 1924 in Gessie, Indiana. He had been a resident of Panama City Beach since 2005. He had retired to Fort Pierce, Florida after more than 30 years with General Motors in Danville, Illinois. He was a Marine and Veteran of World War II, as well as a member of the Masonic Lodge in Perrysville, Indiana. He was also a member of the Elks Club #1598 in Panama City and the Holiday Golf Club in Panama City Beach. Bob was very well respected; being a loving husband, father and friend. He was preceded in death by his former wife, Elenore Hegg Cossey. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Pauline Cossey, 3 children, daughters, Cynthia Cunningham, Deborah Johnson, and son, Neil Cossey and wife Gina, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements and burial will be handled by Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home in Bessemer, Alabama.
