Obituary

Robert David “Bobby” Conner, III, age 82, of Panama City, Florida passed away on March 17, 2026. He was born in Panama City at Lisenby Hospital, September 9, 1943.

Bobby attended Auburn University and Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. After college he worked in Atlanta for a short time and then returned to Panama City to join his father at Howell and Conner Real Estate and Insurance Agency. Bobby was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City and was also a longtime member of the Panama City Rotary Club. He was an avid Auburn football and baseball fan, and he always ended his conversations with everyone he met by saying "War Eagle."

He was predeceased by his parents, Robert David Conner, Jr., and his mother, Annie Rebecca Albritton Conner, and his daughter, Natalie Conner Ware (mother, Susan Bell). He is survived by his wife, June Young Conner, son, Robert David Conner, IV (Jennifer), his stepdaughter, Ashley Marshall (Justin), sisters Kay Conner Gibbs, and Mary Ann Conner Lewis (Bob), his grandchildren, Luke Ware, Robert David Conner, V, and Xander William Conner and Brooke Mathis. He also leaves behind nieces, Cindy Gibbs Oliva, Lisa Gibbs Akers (Ricky), Annie Lewis O'Donnell (Neil), and nephews David Gibbs, and Scott Conner Lewis and seven great and great-great nephews and nieces, plus numerous Conner and Albritton cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 11 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Hope Fund of First Baptist Church of Panama City in memory of Bobby Conner.
