Robert James Clark, 74, of Panama City, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025. He was born November 3,1950 in Ypsilanti, Michigan. He served in the United States Navy for over 24 years retiring at the rank of SKC. He loved fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a volunteer for the Ironman and Gulf Coast Triathlon for thirty years. He loved being a greeter at Lighthouse Church. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanne Clark and father, Lowell Clark; brother, Donald Clark and his best friend for over 41 years, Lonnie Cropper. He is survived by his wife, Jean Longstreth Clark; his two children, MayLi Clark, Jonard Clark (Connie); six grandchildren, Jonard Clark Jr., Allison Skipper (Skip),Malcolm McCray, Zachary Clark (Emily), Spencer Clark, Emily Clark; four great grandchildren; two stepchildren, Michelle Paul & her four children, David Stickney and his children; six siblings, Ronald, Daryl, Christopher, Darlene, Reia, Pam; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at 2 p.m.in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Cole Bailey officiating. The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service. Graveside services will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 at 1 p.m. in the Barrancas National Cemetery, Pensacola, FL. Full military honors will be conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard.
