ROBERT E. BARKER
Robert E. Barker, of Marianna, Florida, passed away on February 14, 2014. He was born in Geneva, Alabama on April 22, 1940. He was predeceased by his mother, Verlie Barker Hayes, of Panama City and one brother, Ed Barker of Conway, South Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Barker of Marianna; two children, Greg Barker (Kathy) of Lucedale, MS, Gayle Mayfield (Ben) of Daphne, AL; one brother, Richard Barker (Barbara) of Bayou George; one sister-in-law, Anne Barker of Conway, SC; one sister, Frances Burchill (David) of Maryville, TN; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and also his two loyal companions, Abby and Bozo Barker. A celebration of life ceremony will be held on Friday, February 28 at 6 p.m. at the Shaddai Shrine Temple. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Shaddai Shrine Cruiser Unit. Masonic rites will be conducted at the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Hospice, 107 W 19th Street, Panama City, FL or to the Shaddai Shrine Center, P.O. Box 16115, Panama City, FL 32406 in memory of Robert Barker.
