RICHARD LEE STAATS

Beloved Husband, Dad and Papa Richard Lee Staats, 61, of Fountain, Florida, died Sunday, July 8, 2007 in his home. He was a roofer for Carter's Roofing and had been a resident here for 30 years, moving here from Virginia. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Felicia Danielle Staats. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Dorothy Mae Miller Staats, daughter, Brandi Staats, sons, Joseph Miller and Daniel Miller, 3 grandchildren, Makayla Rice, Lee "Butterbean" Rice and Trenton "Gutter" Staats. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Southport Victory Holiness Church with Rev. Kevin Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in the Fountain Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Mike Burton, Buddy Burton, Charles Burton, Michael Carter, Hank Miller and Jimmy Miller. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. He was loved and will be greatly missed.
