RICHARD H. KENNEY
Richard H. Kenney, 72, formerly of Alabama, died June 25, 2006 at a Springfield, Vermont Hospital. He was born March 29, 1934, in Wolfeboro, New Hampshire. He was the son of Ernest and Marguerite (Thompson) Kenney. He graduated from Brewster Academy in 1953. Mr. Kenney later served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was predeceased by wife Marilyn (Bass) Kenney in 2003 and a brother William Kenney. He is survived by his mother-in-law, Mrs. Ajetta Bass, and sisters-in-law, Trina Bass Klein, Linda Bass Leake, all of Panama City, Dianne Bass Clifton of Dallas, Texas, and step-son, William Maye of Navarre, FL. Survivors also include a brother, Ernest Kenney of Marston Mills, Massachusetts, four sisters, Dorothy Glidden of Wolfeboro, Constance Hazelton of White River Junction, Clara Sawyer of Tuftonboro, NH and Charlotte Bartholomae of Manchester Center and numerous nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will take place Sunday, July 23, 2006 at 2:00 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating.
