Richard Charles Hilton

January 29, 1937 – December 24, 2025

Rich was born in NYC, NY in 1937 but grew up in Woodstock, NY and spent most of his post high school years working for IBM in Kingston NY. IBM relocated him and his family to Ft Lauderdale, FL in 1978. After his retirement from IBM, they moved to Rotonda West where they lived for 17 years. Four years ago, they moved to Panama City, FL to be closer to family.

Rich is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Doris Hilton, whom he married on September 8, 1957. He leaves behind his daughter, Julie Ann Bedell (proceeded in death by her husband Cole) and his son Richard Charles Hilton Jr. along with his grandchildren, Heather (Dan), Danielle, and Nicki (Chad) and his great grandchildren, Savannah, Gavin, Eli, Addison, Gage and Elise.

He loved golf and baseball and would often attend the local college and youth baseball games…reminiscing his “glory” high school baseball years. He was known for his quick wit and sense of humor. Rich will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
