Richard Byrd "Dickie" Youngblood Sr., 82, of Panama City, FL passed away on Tuesday May 16, 2017. He was born on April 2, 1935 in Southport, FL to Richard and Mary Youngblood. He worked for the Paper Mill for 42 years. He was the Wood Yard Superintendent at Smurfit Stone. He was an avid lifelong deep sea and freshwater fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents. He's survived by his wife of 62 years, Aline W Youngblood; one sister, Donna Mattern (Lee); three sons, Richard B "Byrd" Youngblood Jr., James Miller Youngblood (Amanda), Steven Ernest Youngblood (Sandra); seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 21 st at 4 pm in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ron Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday May 20 th from 6-8 pm.
