RICHARD DWIGHT DAVIS
Richard Dwight Davis, 56, of Panama City, died Wednesday, February 14, 2007 at his home. He was born on April 25, 1950 in Panama City, Florida. He worked as a supervisor at the Hombre Golf Club and assisted the USGA during the qualifying tournaments. He loved the game of golf and was an avid player. He and his wife attended Hiland Park Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Dwight Davis and niece, Kirsti Robinson. He is survived by his wife, Tonnie Davis, son, Tyson Davis, mother, Jean Davis Smith and her husband, Al, of Panama City; three sisters, Charla Barnes and her husband, David, of Mobile, AL, Vicki Costello, of Chipley, Nancy Tolar and her husband, Jack, of Dothan, AL, sister-in-law, Cheryl Robison and her husband, Tom; nieces, Briana Peel, Stephanie Martin, Lisa Tolar, Mindy Barnes, nephews; Luke Tolar, Thomas Robison, Timothy Robison and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Pickerill officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to the Hiland Park Baptist Church Building Fund in memory of Richard Davis.
