RICHARD "DICK" CUSICK
Richard "Dick" Cusick passed away on Friday, August 20, 2010. He was born December 11, 1932 in Grand Island, Nebraska to LaVina and Arthur Cusick.
Dick joined the Navy in 1951, spent 30 years in and retired as a Commander in 1981. He was in the Korean War and spent two tours of duty in Vietnam.
He is preceded in death by his first wife, Mary Bernice Cusick. They had two sons, Bradley and Scott Cusick and two grandsons, Ashton and Tyler Cusick. He is survived by his second wife, Geni Biggs and their daughter, Sarah Cusick.
Dick was a wonderful, loving, and devoted father. He was an avid fan of fishing and firearms. He loved to teach friends and family how to play cards, cook and pass along any good story or the latest joke.
There will be a casual memorial potluck at the No Name Lounge, Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. for anyone that would like to come and share a memory of this special man. He will have a full military ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery at a future date.
