Richard "Dick" Alexander Phillips, 87, of Panama City, passed away March 7, 2019 at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He was born November 2, 1931 in Dallas, Texas. Dick worked in aviation electronics and retired from Hughes Aircraft. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noah Alexander and Ammi Phillips; two sisters, Dale and Patsy. He is survived by his wife, Julia Phillips; two daughters, Susan Bravo and Dianna DeCicco; sister, Ann Smith.
Dick was a man who loved his family, cared deeply for his church and his family there. He enjoyed telling stories of his adventures in the Navy, his time in California and the places he had travelled.
He loved his wife, his daughters, grandchildren, (Tabitha, Kristopher, Angelique, Deanna, Lindsey and Leeza and spending time with his great grandchildren, Justin, Molly Ann and John Oliver.
He will be missed! Please join us in celebrating his life.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 at St. Patrick's Episcopal Church, 4025 E. 15th St. at 3 p.m. with Bishop Russell Kendrick officiating.
