RHEBA STOKES CROWE
Rheba Stokes Crowe, 81, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at her home. She was born on July 4, 1925 in Panama City, Florida. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Panama City where she attended the Frances Gilbert Sunday School Class. She retired after 49 ½ years working for the Supervisor of Elections as the Deputy Supervisor. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey B. Crowe, Sr. and her parents, George and Gussie Stokes. She is survived by her son, Dewey B. Crowe, Jr. and his wife, Jackie, three grandchildren, Denise Crowe, Beth Crowe, Tim Crowe and his wife, Amber, great grandchild, Caleb Crowe, all of Panama City, sister, Dot Sayles of Panama City, special nephews, George Sayles and wife Jane, of Enterprise, AL, and Roger Sayles of Panama City, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make a contribution to the First Baptist Church Building Fund, P.O.
