REED KINNEY

Reed Kinney, 72, of Panama City, passed away Friday, July 1, 2011. He was born on May 26, 1939 in Missoula, Montana to C. Ray and Esther Kinney. Reed grew up in Chicago and graduated High School in New York City. He served in the U.S. Air Force for 8 years. He was a radio personality and broadcast engineer in the Panama City area for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Merle Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice Kinney; two sons, Charles Kinney, of Atlanta, GA, Ray Kinney, of Reno, NV; one grandchild, Christopher Kinney, of Atlanta, GA and sister, Lorraine Olson. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 – 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Nativity Episcopal Church or to your favorite charity.
