RECHO WARREN MACK

Recho Warren Mack, 87, of Panama City, passed away Tuesday, June 8, 2010 in his home. He was born November 5, 1922 in Opp, Alabama. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II aboard the USS Washington Battleship. He was a member of the USS Washington Battleship Reunion, Senior Friends of Bay Medical Center and the Liars Club. He was preceded in death by his wives, Mary Mack and Hazel Mack. He is survived by two daughters, Carole Mainous, Susan Hathaway; son, John Mack; brother, Henry W. Mack; step daughter, Marsha Buchanan; step son, Michael Burkett; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday in the Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6 – 8 p.m. Those desiring may make memorial donations to Emerald Coast Hospice, 2925 Martin Luther King Blvd, Panama City, FL 32405 in memory of Recho Mack.
