Rebecca J. Wimer, 76 y/o of Panama City, died September 9, 2023, at home.

She was born on December 23, 1946, to Bennie and Mildred Arbaugh in Radford, Virginia.

Rebecca attended Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama.

She owned and operated Rebecca J. Wimer Court Reporter, Inc. since October 1, 1983.

She was a kind and giving person with an open heart and home. A pilar of the local community (personally and professionally), and an avid football fan. She loved animals as well as gardening. Always good for a fun story. Her infectious laugh would fill a room with smiles.

Rebecca is survived by two children (Brianna and Michael), three grandsons (Logan, Owen, and Brock who knew her as Nana), and sister (Linda).

She was preceded in death by her parents (Bennie and Mildred).

Funeral services will be Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1-2pm at Wilson Funeral Home (214 Airport Rd, Panama City, FL 32405)
