Rebecca "Becky"  Marie Miller, 75, of Panama City, Florida passed away September 24, 2022.  Becky was born on September 1, 1947 to Lawrence and Marie Miller in Dothan, Alabama.

After graduating from Bay County High School in 1965, Becky earned a her B.S. degree in Criminology at Florida State University graduating in 1972.  After graduation, Becky began her career in Atlanta, Georgia, with the Atlanta Police Department.  This began her 30 year career in law enforcement.  She was the first female law enforcement officer in Atlanta.  Becky returned to Florida as a special agent with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement until her retirement in 2003.  After retirement, Becky spent time with her family and friends.  She loved the outdoors, photography and long walks.

Her parent, Lawrence and Marie Miller and her great nephew, Brent Miller Jr. preceded Becky in death.  Becky is survived by her siblings, Sherry Miller, Lawrence Miller Jr. and Allen Miller.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 3, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the Evergreen Memorial Gardens with Rev. Clyde Ellison officiating.
