RAYMOND PAUL RUSSELL
Raymond "Paul" Russell, 61, of Lynn Haven, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2008 in his home. He was born on October 5, 1946 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Raymond and Martha Russell and had been a resident of Panama City since 1956. He was a 1964 graduate of Bay High School and obtained his Bachelors Degree from Florida State University. He was a former President of Jaycee's in Bremen, Georgia and the Mississippi MBAC. Paul had a passion for travel and enjoyed many outdoor activities. He was a member of the St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Venice Russell, two children Kerry Rickman and husband Mike of Birmingham, AL; Ryan Russell of Panama City Beach, three grandchildren Carley Rickman, Sam Rickman, Juliana Rickman; brother Ken Russell and wife Leesa of Panama City; Sister Linda Stokes and husband Andy of Raleigh, NC; three nephews Ken T. Russell, Bowen Russell, Andrew Stokes; and one niece Courtney Stokes. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Cook officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Those desiring may make donations to the American Cancer Society, 2012-A Lisenby Avenue, Panama City, Florida 32405 in memory of Paul Russell.
